Diamond Refractory Services, L.P. is a privately held, medium sized refractory specialty contractor located in Houston, Texas. Since 1984, David Gregory and Gary McGregor have assembled key management personnel that has since become the nationally recognized refractory turnaround specialist team. Diamond has, through its knowledge and expertise, developed innovative methods and techniques that have differentiated ourselves from the rest of our industry. Together we encompass an execution strength not available at any other refractory company nation wide. Our primary focus is to commit to one project at a time, by planning, scheduling and safely completing it under Budget and on Time. For the past 20 years our current management team has been directly engaged in providing the technical talent, tools, equipment and skilled labor necessary to successfully complete FCCU and other process plant turnarounds. The present staff has accumulated over 150 man-years of process plant contracting experience. Additionally, the staff has provided Mechanical Assistance through direct hire and subcontract basis to facilitate an expanding scope of work. Home office and field engineering required before or during the construction process is performed by staff project engineers. Over the past two decades the services offered to the Refining, Petrochemical, and Chemical industries have grown as we have grown.
